Creating business and education collaborations aimed at real life learning for middle grade students in math and science.
SMART Partnership Mission
The development of a sustainable, structured, yet flexible collaboration between business and education for the improvement of student achievement, particularly in math and science, using real life contexts and a standards based curriculum. As a result of this collaboration, students will be better prepared to become contributing and responsible citizens motivated to enroll in rigorous mathematics and science curriculum in high school.
The SMART Partnership
In order to accomplish this mission, the collaboration seeks to create an active, expert and growing network of individuals and organizations available to provide financial, material resource and intellectual support to schools students and to serve as participating partners in instruction.
